Aker This is Aker, the double-headed lion god and guardian of the beautiful sunrise and sunset. Between the lions is an Aker symbol which represents the horizon on which the sun rises or sets. |
Nut Nut was the goddess of the sky, and the daughter of Shu. The hieroglyph for her name is a water pot. The picture shows Nut's body covered with stars, and the god Geb relaxing beneath her. |
