Ancient Egyptians were mummified when they died. A hook
was stuck up the body's nose and the brain was pulled
out. Then they took the internal organs out and put them
in special jars. - these were called canopic jars, and
each was named after a god: Horus, Amun Re, Tawaret and
Anubis. Then they wrapped the body in bandages and put it
in a tomb. |
