Circe is surprised, but delighted, to see you. However, she is less happy when you tell her you have only come back for more advice, but she does agree to tell you once more of the dangers ahead.

She tells you about the Sirens, beautiful maidens who sing heavenly songs to lure sailors onto the jagged rocks of their island, and then devour them. She gives you some wax to block your crew's ears.

Also, she tells you of a narrow sea passage between two cliffs, where white water rages. Beneath the left-hand cliff there is a terrible whirlpool, Charybdis, which swallows any ship which passes too near – but in a cave in the right-hand cliff there is a six-headed monster, Scylla, which snatches sailors from their ships with its snake-like heads.

You set sail, hopefully more aware of the dangers ahead this time, and approach a small island from which you can faintly hear beautiful singing. It seems strangely familiar.
